Can you answer Kewl Katt’s question about Depression?:
I know this person who says she suffers from depression, but she has these extreme highs and lows. She goes from being giddy, compulsive and promiscuous to threatening to kill herself. Do you think she’s really manic depressive, and why would she lie about her condition?

Can you answer ciaoedies’s question about Depression?:
I am a 22 yr old female, during my teen years I was diagnosed as bipolar ..I was to see a psychiatrist to get on meds.. at that time I did not want meds and would lie to my doctor about feeling excellent and I was evaluated as not needing antidepressants. I’ve always gone through major highs and lows.. daily.. it’s not so bad anymore but I can quickly go from feeling fantastic to feeling completely miserable and hating life. No suicidal thoughts. I have a 2 yr old so have no desire to end my life. When I had my child I went through postpartum depression and thought I was going insane.. I did not go to my doctor and got through it eventually but some symptoms have not left me.. I wake up feeling exhausted, not wanting to get up..I have no energy, I dont know if this is depression or something else.
